Our Heart

At A Time to Dance we believe in training dancers for more than just dance. We believe in developing good character and confidence in our dancers. We desire to inspire, motivate, and encourage every dancer that walks through our doors whether they are with us for a short season or for a lifetime!

Tuition: Rates are for the full season (Mid-August – Beginning of June). Payments are DUE on the 1st of the month. A $10 late fee will be added to your account if received after the 15th. A 10% sibling discount will be given on the smaller tuition fee. NO discounts will be given for Company, costumes, or any other fees.

Costumes: Most classes will have a costume fee. Costume fees under $80 are due in full otherwise half is due on Nov 1st and the balance is due Feb 15th. There will be no costume refund after Dec 1th. Costumes will not be sent home until they are paid in full.

Annual Recital: Will be the beginning of June – specific dates and times will be announced at a later date. Stage fee is due April 1st.

A Time to Dance accepts cash or check only.

Checks: are payable to A Time to Dance or ATTD. Put your child’s name and the month you are paying in the memo. A fee of $35.00 will be charged for any returned checks. Note: you can add ATTD to your online banking or bill pay to have your monthly tuition paid automatically.

Cash: Place exact amount in an envelope with students name, amount, and month.

Monthly Tuition

Creative Movement (3 yr olds) –  $60 per month
1st class –  $67 per month ($70 for an hour class)
2nd class –  $30 per month
3rd class –  $30 per month
4th, 5th and 6th – $25 per month
7 and more – $227 per month

A $10.00 late fee will be charged if payment is received after the 15th.

 

Discounts for fall and spring semesters:

Family Discount – 10% off siblings
Semester discount – 1st child: 5%Sibling: 10%

Other Fees

Registration fee: $35 one dancer/$50 family

Costume fees: $40 – $75 per class

Stage / Recital Fee: $60 one dancer / $15 each additional dancer

Private Lessons

Most instructors are available for private lessons. Contact the office or instructor by email to set up an appointment.

Cost for a private lesson: 30 Minutes – $40, 45 Minutes – $45, 1 hour – $50.

This is payable to the teacher at time of lesson. There is a $5 room rental fee per hour for students currently enrolled at A Time to Dance and a $10 room rental fee for anyone that is not enrolled at A Time to Dance.

*Solos/duets – prices for choreography for solos and duets is to be worked out with individual instructor (room rental fee will still apply)

Studio Room Rental – $25/Hour

Attendance – Attendance is vital to student progress and group choreography. Students may make up missed classes until April 1st. If your dancer misses more than three (3) of the final eight (8) classes before recital, your dancer may be dismissed from the recital routine at the discretion of the teacher.

Withdrawal – A one (1) month notice is required to discontinue any charges. To withdraw a parent must (1) inform the studio via email or (2) inform the studio in person and complete and sign a withdrawal form.

Classes – A Time to Dance reserves the right to provide a substitute teacher if the regular teacher is ill or unable to teach. ATTDS reserves the right to reschedule or combine classes.

Communication – At ATTDS we go to great lengths to keep you informed and up to date via emails, monthly newsletter, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and lobby displays. We are happy to answer any questions you may have regarding your dancer or our programs. Let us know how we can help in any way! Please keep us informed of any changes to your email address or if you are not receiving emails.

Inclement weather: In the event of inclement weather, a message will be left on the studio answering machine regarding the status of classes as well as sending out an email. PLEASE NOTE: We do not necessarily follow school closings as roads are often clear by the time studio classes begin. Any cancelled classes may be made up on your own time from our regular schedule of classes. In the event there is not a makeup classes available, a replacement class will be scheduled.

YPAD – Youth Protection Advocates in Dance – A Time to Dance is a YPAD certified studio. Our staff has gone through certification and training, is CPR trained, and have had full background checks. The YPAD mission is to help create and maintain happy, healthy, and safe places to dance through training, education, and resources for studio owners, teachers, staff, parents, and dancers.

Pre-Ballet

Leotard – Pink leotard or pink dance dress

Short – black dance shorts (No P.E Athletic shorts)

*Cecchetti Exams require a modest Black leotard
*You may wear any modest black leotard for modern, jazz, tap, and hip hop. However, for recital, some classes may need a black camisole or a Nude leotard to wear under their costume.

Modern
